Red Bull Female Driver Search Top 30

Last Saturday, Red Bull finally had the top 30 finalist gathered and had a SmartWoman Driving Course at Shah Alam.

The girls arrived the day before at motorsport playground where they mingled around and introduced themselves to us while we (puteri and i) did a short presentation on how it was to be red bull rookies.

all together there were 25 who turned up that day.

And so during the SmartWoman Driving Course they learned new skills and new ways to handle a car they never did learn b4 in JPJ / any other place.

it was a course that was worth their trip coming down for..

anyways.. i had a change to talk to a few and they were really pleasant to see and to speak to.
they driving skills are above average, hopefully we will see them do their best once the Top6 are announced!

HAHA.. Guess what?

What happens when they don’t really know how to do it?
actually.. i would love to service my own car.. but i just don’t have the equiptment to do it.. plus it saves MONEY!! HAHAHA.. servising a car at a normal service shop cost around RM10-20 bucks.. i could save 20 bucks .. plus i get my own oil and oil filter at spare part shops around to avoid getting cheated… so.. i kinda saved money here and there… but enough about me..

i guessed they took 1 hour 15 mins , considering a normal mechanic takes 20 mins to finish the job.. i plus additional “few” more minutes from the looks of the video…
hehehe… i wonder how long they really took.. it would be a suprize if they did it in 30mins .. haha.. guess i have to wait till 18th for the results.

Go karting 100cc

Yesterday i went to City karting at Shah alam in the morning

i went with a bunch of my old friends..

i played 100cc the first round.. i didn’t wear my glasses properly.. i had difficulty seeing the corners especially long bends.. as it was bumpy.. my spectacles was moving around…. sommor i dunno why tears was coming down when i was driving.. sobs sobss.. i guess i was still sleepy … cos the day b4 i went out quite late at night.. went to zouk for the first time..and came back wuite late like 4am ….it was pretty packed..i even met puteri in zouk! O_O what a coincidence..

Thats steven behind me.. lolz.. i didnt drink… just drank some cola and listen to music while my friends were on the dance floor.. they dragged me to dance … at first it was a bit ankward.. but when some of my favourite songs came out.. i began to move a bit more

Back to go kart…
so i didn’t really have a good first session.

then my friends join in and we played 80cc..
i choose a not so good kart because i was throttling and didnt really brake much.. the kart was too slow… i was so far behind.. T_T

after that my friends wanted to play 100cc…. i joined in again.. this time i had so much fun.. i got a REALLY NICE KART… i was so happy.. and the kart was so bloody fast.. i was enjoying it like in a roller coaster.. i was shouting in my helmet because it was so exciting.. when corners came.. i just let the tail come out and pushed drifting all the corners….. it was soooooooooooo FUN!!! AHAHAHAHAAH…. i really love that kart!!.. WAKAKKAAKA

today my neck aching … back and shoulders too.. T_T

funny thing was.. my hands were not pain like last time.. i played 2 80cc session and it would hurt because of my fractured wrist injury..

the past 5 days I’ve been exercising my arm with the POWERBALL my sis bf gave her.. he bought from USA.. it really WORKS@!!@!@!.. i didn’t feel my hand tired at all… i love that powerball!!

Sepang 1000km Race this 2009

There will be a new Competition this year

SEPANG 1000km which is about 180 laps 8-9pm

JUNE 4th to 6th!

77 cars
2 class (Class 1 (1601-1900cc)) (Class 2 (1600cc and below))

Prizes/ Awards
class 1 : 1st RM30,000 2nd RM20,000 and 3rd RM10,000

Class 2 : 1st RM25,000 2nd RM15,000 and 3rd RM8,000

regulations can be found here

O_o…. awaiting orders ..from Red Bull and AADA decision to join the race or not.. i think is a change from the MME ..

but still minimum 2 drivers maximum 4

good news is no more big big cars like porsche/ aston martin kacau and overtaking
